What is Discover E?
Discover E is a not-for-profit, student-run program at the University of Alberta that makes science exciting and accessible to youth in Edmonton and many other communities.
Our Mission
To have children and youth recognize the value and importance of engineering, science, and technology in today's dynamic world and consider the pursuit of related fields in a fun, interesting, and rewarding option for their future.
We conduct in-class workshops during the school year, and offer science, technology and engineering day camps during July and August. Our newest program, the Girls, Engineering and Mentorship Club is also available on Saturdays during the school year. These programs help to foster an interest in science, engineering, and technology by making those topics fun, interesting and relevant to youth.
